  • September 21-22, 2019- Fall Weekend
    • ​Wednesday, September 18th

      7:00 p.m. Flor de Toloache in Concert Lipinsky Auditorium
      Flor de Toloache – the New York City-based all-female quartet whose latest album features John Legend – will bring their boundary-breaking update on mariachi music to UNC Asheville for a 7 p.m. concert at Lipinsky Auditorium on Wednesday, Sept. 18. This concert is free with no tickets required.

    • Thursday, September 19th

      7:30 pm - 9:30 pm Talk by StoryCorps Founder Dave Isay Lipinsky Auditorium
      Dave Isay, founder of StoryCorps and author of five books, will give a free public talk. Isay’s most recent book based on StoryCorps interviews, Callings: The Purpose and Passion of Work, was summer reading for first-year UNC Asheville students. This concert is free with no tickets required.

    • Friday, September 20th

      Fall Alumni Board of Directors Meeting
      Closed meeting for the Alumni Board of Directors.

      12:30 p.m. -3:00 p.m. Luncheon for 1960’s & 1970’s Alumni Highsmith Student Union
      Private lunch for alumni of the 1960s and 1970s decades with members of the Alumni Board of Directors and the National Parents Council. Luncheon will highlight the past, present, and future of UNC Asheville. All alumni from the 1960's and 1970s are welcome to attend, however an RSVP is required. Please contact alumni@unca.edu directly if you have any questions.

      10:00 a.m. Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Brunch
      Wilma M. Sherrill Center
      Join UNC Asheville Athletics as we celebrate our 2019 Hall of Fame Inductees. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children (13 and under) and can be purchased at the link below or by calling Donna Peek at 828-232-5655.

1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Alumni Swim & Dive Races & Reunion
Join the Swim & Dive Team for alumni races & inter-squad meet at 1:00 p.m. Following the races at 4:00 p.m., there will be a gathering at a local brewery. Presented by Forever a Bulldog Varsity Club. Contact Dan Freeman at dfreema2@unca.edu for details.

5:00 pm - 7:30 pm Fall Alumni Zone
Greenwood Field
Join us at Greenwood Field to cheer on the Men’s Soccer Team as they take on Wofford at 6:00 p.m. The Zone is a family-friendly area where drinks, food, and fun will be available.
