Step Show and Dance

Step Show

Come see outstanding step performances by Greek organizations from the southeast. UNC Asheville hosts its 4th annual "GO HARD or GO HOME" step show competition, featuring Greek organizations from Georgia, Virginia, and North Carolina universities. Be a part of the action and watch teams take to the stage for an entertaining and exciting night of competition! Students enter for free with a valid OneCard. Alumni are encouraged to attend the step show and can do so with a $5.00 ticket purchased at the door. Community members are invited to attend and can do so with an $8.00 ticket purchased at the door.

Homecoming Dance

Homecoming 2013 concludes with a dance party at Crowne Plaza for UNC Asheville students and their guests. Cash bar will be available, serving beer and wine only. Tickets are required and must be obtained in advance at the information desk in Highsmith Union. Tickets will be available at the Highsmith Union Information Desk, beginning Monday, January 28. You must present a valid UNC Asheville OneCard in order to receive your ticket.

Students
  • Receive one ticket for themselves and one guest ticket at no charge
  • Students must present a valid OneCard and government issued ID to receive their tickets
  • Students must present a valid government issued ID to Highsmith Union in order to Ride the Shuttle
  • Guests must bring a valid government issued ID to the Highsmith Union in order to Ride the Shuttle
  • In order to attend the dance, individuals must ride the shuttle provided
  • Shuttles depart from Brown Hall after students and their guests have checked into Highsmith Union
  • Shuttles run continuously from Brown Hall to Crown Plaza until Midnight
  • Shuttles run continuously from Crown Plaza to Brown Hall from Midnight until 2:00 am
