Alumni E-Newsletter

The UNC Asheville alumni e-newsletter is sent out each month with news and information about what's happening at the University. To sign up to receive the newsletter, email alumni@unca.edu.

Biltmore Discounts

Campus Recreation

As a UNC Asheville Alum, you along with your spouse or partner, can purchase a recreational pass to use the Student Recreation Center and Sherrill Center. With your pass, you have access to the Campus Recreation Fitness Room, indoor track, pool and group exercise classes. To purchase a Recreation Pass, call the UNC Asheville Alumni Office at 828.251.6512.

Insurance Program

Lifetime Career Services

UNC Asheville have lifelong access to the Career Center. To schedule an appointment, call 828.251.6515 or email career@unca.edu.

Lifetime Email Address

Alumni receive access to a lifelong email account that they can take with them when they change jobs, schools or cancel their other email addresses.  The email is hosted by Google and comes with all of the same features and storage as a normal Gmail account.  Six months after graduation, student email accounts are deactivated.  To sign up email alumni@unca.edu with your name, class year and birthday (for verificiation). 

Alumni email accounts are alumni.unca.edu addresses and are different than student accounts.  To transfer emails and contact information, follow these instructions from Google.

Official UNC Asheville License Plate

For only $25 per year you can show your pride in UNC Asheville and support the University. Fifteen dollars of the fee goes to support alumni programming. (Order Online)

Ramsey Library

Alumni may check out books from Ramsey Library at no cost. To obtain your library card, drop by our office in 214 Phillips Hall.
